Our sherpas chose a almost perfect place for our basecamp. Although about 20 expeditions are already here, they found a place close to the beginning of the Khumbu icefall. The first days we had to build up our tents and sort our equipment.
On Sunday we performed the Puja ceremony. This holy ceremony is very important for the sherpas and even if one do not believe in it one have to take part in it. Tomorrow we will cross the Khumbu icefall for the very first time.
